課程概述 |
本課程將介紹社會科學研究概念，包含其歷史發展、研究領域、實證研究的特點、社會科學研究者的資訊需求、各類型的資訊資源，以及資訊蒐集之策略。
本課程希望幫助學生培養以下能力：
1. 在發想研究與建立文獻基礎時，有效定位學術資源；
2. 在資料檢索過程中培養批判性思考能力以評估資源；
3. 在符合學術倫理之前提下適當地利用資訊資源。 |

課程目標 |
在本課程結束後，學生將能夠達到以下目標：
1. 對社會科學主要研究領域有基本理解。
2. 認識社會科學領域的主要組織、科學期刊和研討會。
3. 辨別適用於社會科學領域的主要、次要和第三級資源。
4. 評估資訊資源的可用性和適切性。
5. 熟悉與社會科學研究相關的基本術語。
6. 發展個人策略得以蒐集特定學術領域之資訊資源。 |

學生將分為3-4人一組，各組將選擇一個課程中提到的社會科學研究領域（社會、社工、心理、教育、法律、政治、經濟），並針對該領域兩名碩士或博士生進行訪談。訪談的重點為受訪者之研究需求和資源蒐集與尋求行為。本報告由小組為單位繳交。 |

學生需要運用從本課程學到的知識，從小組訪談結果中發想出一個研究議題，並運用指定之資訊資源蒐集相關資料，且須評估各個資料來源之品質與相關性。本報告由小組為單位繳交。 |
